Accommodation

El Hotelito has five different types of accommodation to choose from according to your taste and budget. Every room has two levels with the sleeping area upstairs, and the living area downstairs. The rooms are equipped with: mosquito nets, hand-made furniture, reading light and a 24-hour light.

Bungalow Naranjo

Bungalow Naranjo bedroom upstairs (Juan Antono Herrada)

Our newest, the most spacious bungalow (35m² downstairs, and 26m² upstairs). The bungalow has a garden view and terrace with hammocks where you can relax in privacy. It has a double bedroom upstairs, a separate sitting room downstairs and a private bathroom. Thanks to two sofa beds it can sleep 2-4 people, though we think this is a perfect option for a romantic getaway.

Facilities: Mosquito nets, towels, hammocks, armchair, private veranda, reading light, hand-crafted furniture, 24-hour light.

Bungalow Zapote

Hidden in the middle of our tropical garden this bungalow feels wonderfully quiet. It is simple and cosy, filled with traditionally crafted touches. It has a private bathroom, 33m² downstairs, and 24m² upstairs. It is furnished with one double and one sofa bed upstairs, and one sofa bed downstairs (for a maximum of four people). Enjoy swinging in your hammock and listening to the jungle.

Facilities: Mosquito nets, towels, hammocks, hanging chair, private veranda, reading light, hand-crafted furniture, 24-hour light.

Bungalow Mango

A beautifully designed, private bungalow (21m² dowstairs and 17m² upstairs) located on the riverfront. Bungalo Mango is ideal for the "Honey Mooners", complete with a double bedroom upstairs and a living area downstairs. The downstairs sofa can be converted into an extra bed (maximum three people). The bungalow also provides: a private bathroom, a veranda with hammock, and a beautiful view of the river.

Facilities: Mosquito nets, towels, hammock, private veranda, reading light, hand-crafted furniture, 24-hour light.

Rooms Guanaba and Nance

One large two story wooden bungalow containing two guest rooms — Nance and Guanaba. Each living area has a double bedroom upstairs, and a sitting room below (10m² downstairs and 10m² upstairs). The downstairs sofa can be converted into an extra single bed (max 3 people per room). It is a perfect option for families, and or friends staying together.

A shared bathroom is located in a separate building a few steps away.

Facilities: Mosquito nets, library, outdoor hammock, reading light, hand-crafted furniture, 24-hour light.

Jungle Loft

Jungle Loft above the lounge of the communal house

The spacious yet cozy 50m² loft is divided, with a curtain, into two areas. The larger part is equipped with two single beds and a couch. The rent is per bed, or it is possible to reserve the whole loft. Located above the lounge area of the communal house, the Jungle Loft enjoys beautiful views over the forest canopy. It is ideal for travelers on a limited budget.

Facilities: Mosquito net, reading light, hand-crafted furniture, 24-hour light.
